0.8mm AND 1mm TITANIUM COATED HSS TWIST DRILL
Happens to be the same thickness as the
florist's wire I use for all my conversions. The titanium
coating on the drill head (according to the maker) gives
it a 33% longer cutting life than the standard hss twist
drill of the same size. Useful for the tougher, lead-free
alloy used in a lot of minis these days. This drill is
very thin so care is required when drilling or it will
still snap, despite the titanium!

XURON TRACK CUTTER SHEARS
Let's get one thing straight - there are a lot
of clippers around, aren't there? Most of them are about
£5 or so but when you use them to clip simple things
like brass rod of a thick limb from a miniature, they
either shatter and take your eye out, suffer huge gouges
along the cutting edge of the clippers and require huge
amounts of effort. In my constant and slightly bitter
attempts to find a better quality set of clippers, I have
come across these wonderful Xuron tools! This particular
one, although a higher price than most other clippers, is
now on my personal list of absolutely-essential tools, so
I thought I might get some in to share with you lot. It's
designed for slicing through brass model railway track
and features two cunning design tricks: firstly, the
actual jaws of the clipper do not meet in the middle, but
are ever so slightly offset, which halves the amount of
effort required to cut through your intended material (No,
really, it does! I almost giggled out loud when I first
used this on some metal sprues) and secondly , the clever
spring release system is a lever device on one of the
arms - no snapping off and making your clippers really
stiff and slow to use!

HTT14 'FLASH' SUPERGLUE (CYANOACRYLATE)
1/2 oz (14.2 grams) Sticks metal
figures. Also fingers, eyes, lips, etc. Not to mention the fumes. Hence the 18yrs plus thing. Use in conjunction with accelerator spray and pinning for best
results. This is the 'Medium' thickness glue.
